This the 534th MP CO's 1993 ARTEP with the 549th MP CO as OPFOR. The week long ARTEP's always concluded with a final all out Riot Disturbance event. The OPFOR (549th in this case) prepared for weeks before the final riot even making all kinds of vile crap to though on the opposing unit. I was with 549th and this particular event we left flats of eggs in the Panama sun for a few weeks to really spoil. The guys that chewed saved their dip spit in 1 gallon jugs that was poured into water balloons and launched at the 534th via water balloon slingshot. Oh the fun of those days. And no ARTEP was complete unless no less than 3 rioters were sent to the hospital.
