Here's our advice on sleeping positions and mattress firmness when it comes to low back pain.

The main things to take away are:

1. Don't sleep on your front (it's bad for your neck!)
2. Laying on your side use a pillow between the knees
3. Laying on your back use a pillow under the knees
4. A mattress too soft your shoulders and hips will sink in too much, causing a lateral curvature of the spine.
5. A mattress to hard your shouders and hips won't sink in enough, causing a lateral curvature of the spine the opposite way
