227 is an American sitcom television series that was originally aired on NBC from September 1985 to May 1990. The series ran for five seasons with total of 116 episodes. 227 stared some of the best actors including, Jackee Harry, Regina Hall, Hellen Martin, Marla Gibbs and many more. The sitcom was created by C.J Banks and Bill Boulware and was based on the Two TwentySeven by Christine Huston and was developed by Jack Elinson. The 227 series followed the lives of people in a middleclass apartment building 227 and the show was centered around the character Mary Jenkins a noisy Tart tongued, but a loving housewife, her husband who owns a construction company and their daughter. The show was nominated for several awards including the BMI film and tv awards which it won, the 1987 Emmy award which it won, three young artist awards nomination and one golden globe award nomination. the show 227 is no doubt one of the best shows of its time. The family sitcom show, 227 had many cast members and, in this video, will feature some of the cast members who died in real life.
