The Aeolian Mode (or the Natural Minor Scale as it's also called) is the backbone of many great songs and compositions. It is very inspiring to use if you ask me, because you can use it to write music in any style. This music tutorial does not only focus on how to make minor chord progressions but also how you can create an Aeolian scale / minor scale and which notes you should focus on when making a melody.

Apart from learning how to write your own Aeolian chord progressions, along the way I also talk about important music theory and songwriting tips for composing music and how to create original music.
