Almost a decade ago, the first 1962 Shelby Cobra CSX2000 was sold for an astronomical price of over $13 million.

On the contrary, if we’re talking about American race cars, they are probably where everything began. The Shelby Cobra is the origin point of most of the ones that came after them. And it all started in a small shop in California, from the hands and the ingenuity of Carroll Shelby, who would go one to carve for himself a space in the American memory.
