Normalization is a process for deciding which attributes should be grouped together in a relation. It is a tool to validate and improve a logical design, so that it satisfies certain constraints that avoid redundancy of data. Furthermore, Normalization is defined as the process of decomposing relations with anomalies to produce smaller, wellorganized relations. Thus, in normalization process, a relation with redundancy can be refined by decomposing it or replacing it with smaller relations that contain the same information, but without redundancy.
