This Salvage business opened in 1955. After 67 years in business today was it's last day open. The property was sold and all of the cars will be removed for scrap metal. It is the end of an era. At one time you could get gas here and get your car worked on and salvage parts all at the same time place. This video is not of the whole entire salvage yard. It was muddy and raining and they were only open a couple hours before they closed. Everything was for sale pretty much for whatever you wanted to pay for it. In the end several of the longtime customers gathered outside of the building and inside of the building out front for BBQ and drinks. The salvage yard will truly be missed and tens of thousands of old classic parts will never get used again.
