This is the 7th video in a series where I explain the basics of Tai Chi Straight Sword (Taijijian) training. In this video I discuss how to care for your Tai Chi sword if you have a blade that is at risk of rusting. The sword used in this video has a tempered, high carbon steel blade that will rust if not properly cared for. For stainless steel or chrome plated swords it is usually not necessary to do anything more than wipe them down with a clean cloth after each training session to avoid corrosion.
