I've been browsing the portfolios of some top branding agencies and found some great examples of brand strategy, things like brand mission, vision, purpose, values, personality, voices, and a tagline.

First up is Son of a Tailor and its brand mission. Their mission is to build a fashion industry that is a better fit for wearers, workers, and the world at large. It was done by Rocket edge and they use the keyword "better fit" to inspire the direction of brand identity. I really like how they conveyed the idea of custom fit by having the text hack the edges of the frame. You can find the whole case study on their website.

Next is Hopscotch and their brand purpose, which is to take the bullshit out of small business so their owners are free to focus on the important stuff. It was done by Moto and you can see their purpose communicated right on their website. They have a whole section in their brand guidelines about their brand strategy, so be sure to check that out to see how they came up with their redesign.

Another great example is EDP and its brand vision. Their vision is to lead the energy transition to create superior value. It was done by Pentagram and they incorporated the transition into the logo with a gradient and spiral that conveys the idea of energy. Mode is another brand with great strategic insights. Their core values are that they are human, collaborative, and aiming for impact. It was done by Greta and you can find their strategy section in their brand guidelines.

Meati is another example that I really like. Their brand personality is expressed through their sun logo called Mo, which represents good energy and positivity. It was done by Koto and you can find their case study on their website.

Lastly, I want to talk about Hootsuite and its tone of voice, which was owned by Prophet. Their voice is playful with a mischievous edge and a touch of Canadian colloquialism. They've created a whole new mascot that takes on different forms and is kind of mischievous. You can read through their story to see how this personality shaped their brand image and copy.
