Official Release Date 7 Days to Die is officially hitting version 1.0 on both PC and consoles on July 25th. Console players will finally be up to date with the Steam version of the game. And even better, crossplay is coming later this year!

Price and Value The new console version will be priced at $45. We discuss why this is a significant upgrade from the original console release, with massive improvements in graphics, mechanics, and overall quality. This price increase will also help fund future updates and expansions, ensuring we continue to get the best possible experience.

Legacy Console Version Addressing why the original console version can't be updated and was abandoned. The original version was developed in partnership with Telltale Games, who went bankrupt. This left The Fun Pimps without the necessary resources to continue updating the game. They made the tough decision to focus on the PC version and secure the rights to their game.

Multiplayer Improvements The new version will support up to 8 players in multiplayer, doubling the previous limit of 4. Plus, the old version, now referred to as the legacy version, will be delisted from digital storefronts to avoid confusion. If you already own the legacy version, you'll still be able to play it, but it won't receive any future updates, and your save data won't transfer to the new 1.0 version.
