7 Week Pregnancy Obstetric Ultrasound Report Example | Normal Intrauterine Pregnancy USG Reporting

7Week Pregnancy Ultrasound Report:

Clinical History: First pregnancy, no known complications. LMP: January 5, 2024.
Date: February 22, 2024
Procedure: Transvaginal ultrasound was performed to evaluate early pregnancy.

Findings:
Gestational Sac (GS): The gestational sac is visualized with an average diameter of 20 mm, consistent with a gestational age of approximately 7 weeks. The location is intrauterine.
Yolk Sac: A normal yolk sac is identified within the gestational sac, measuring approximately 6 mm in diameter.
Embryo: An embryo measuring 10 mm in crownrump length (CRL) is seen, which corresponds to a gestational age of 7 weeks and 0 days. Cardiac activity is observed with a heart rate of approximately 130 beats per minute, which is within normal limits for this stage of pregnancy.
Ovaries: Both ovaries are normal in appearance with no adnexal masses observed. The right ovary contains a corpus luteum cyst, which is common and expected in early pregnancy.
Uterus and Adnexa: The uterus is anteverted and normal in size. No abnormalities are detected in the uterine lining or adnexal regions.

Impression:
This is a viable intrauterine pregnancy of approximately 7 weeks gestation. The embryo demonstrates normal growth and cardiac activity for the gestational age. No abnormalities are detected in the uterus, cervix, or adnexal areas. Followup ultrasound is recommended in accordance with standard prenatal care guidelines.
