The nation's conscience was rocked when 121 people died and hundreds others were injured in the stampede at Baba Sakar Hari's congregation in Phulrai village of Sikandrarao area in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras on July 2.

Selfstyled Godman Surajpal alias Narayan Sakar Hari alias Bhole Baba had been hiding from the authorities ever since the harrowing tragedy struck the people attending the 'satsang' (religious gathering) on the fateful day.
