PIH is offering 8 online webcasts designed to train PHA Board of Commissioners on topics related to financial management and governance at PHAs. Topics include overviews of the fundamentals of governance and oversight, financial viability, ethics, public housing facilities management, asset management, Housing Choice Voucher program, procurement and PHA governing documents. More learning materials will come in the next fiscal year but these videos are a great place for Commissioners to learn anew or refresh their familiarity with good governance and management principles to ensure effective performance at a PHA.
