80 LANDINGS & TAKEOFF`s today with a few special planes I filmed in June 2024. The most emotional situation was the last Boeing 767 departure of Condor which left Düsseldorf this month to Bangor. The B767 was a part of the Condor long haul fleet for over three decades. I was quite happy the lsat 767 left from Düsseldorf so I was able to film this wonderful low pass and wing wave maneuver at the end of the runway. After a fuel stop at Bangor the aircraft continued to an airplane desert in the USA where it will be converted into a cargo aircraft.
Another interesting highlight was the special Boeing 757200 of Honeywell which is the oldest active B757 in the world. The aircraft is a special testplane and it` s used to test new avionics, new airplane technologies and new engines. It arrived at Cologne after a short flight from London Stansted that day.
I also managed to film the first flight of an Austrian Airlines Boeing 787 in full colours. Austrian is currently replacing its aging long haul fleet of B767` s with more modern Dreamliners. It arrived at Düsseldorf for crew testing and due to needed extra capacity during the EM 2024.
Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed this video, new videos every tuesday and friday.
