On Friday at adidas Track Nationals, the 14yearold eighthgrader from Chesapeake, Virginia and 757 Track Club produced a personal and careerbest 400m time of 48.81, which is just a shade faster than his previous top mark of 49.21. He also ran 50.00 in February.
That former time was the fastest ever by an eighthgrader indoors. It's also among the top 50 performances nationally in the U.S. this year.
