In this story, Ram Narayan who becomes an engineer returns to the same village where he spent his early time, he feels that the smell of the sand, the voices of the gulli danda team, the trashy village, everything seems to have lost its charm. He suppose to know that his friend Gaya respect and honor him not because of their old friendship but because of his rank as an Officer.
