‍⚖在英國買樓跟香港的流程有很大分別. 今集很高興邀請到Joanne Chung律師講解整個買樓流程及有甚麼事情買家需要注意的.

⚖以我們的經歷, 跟香港最大不同之處是關於必買必賣階段. 在香港, 交了細訂就要完成買賣否則會產生金錢損失, 但在英國, 一日未到exchange of contracts, 都不能鬆懈!

‍⚖The property buying procedure differs greatly between UK and HK. In this video, we are delighted to invite Miss Joanne Chung, a conveyancing solicitor in the UK, to talk us through the entire buying process and what pitfalls potential buyers may encounter.

⚖According to our own experiences, the major difference is when a party can withdraw from the transaction with little or no consequences. In HK, when you have paid the small deposit after 14 days, then you have committed to buy, otherwise the financial penalties are significant. However, in the UK, if you have not exchanged contracts with the seller, there is always a possibility the deal may fall through.
