The name of the headland of this market is Kayserieh and its general name is also derived from this headland. Qaysariyyeh is called a market where valuable and expensive goods are sold. This market was built in the years 2011 to 1029 AH and during the Safavid period and in the north of Naqsh Jahan Square (Imam Square of Isfahan). The design and construction of Qaysarieh Bazaar was inspired by Qaysarieh Bazaar in Fars province and Larestan city.

The goods of the historical market of Kayseri

As you know, the main souvenirs of Isfahan are the handicrafts of this city. These products are very beautiful and unique, that's why all Iranian and foreign tourists buy these products and take them as souvenirs. One of the best shopping centers for handicrafts and souvenirs in Isfahan is Qaisarieh Bazaar. This market still retains its glory. Of course, it should be noted that not only goods are sold in this market, but many products are produced in this market itself. In this bazaar, you can see cells that have been selling a single item since the Safavid era until today. These shops have preserved their authenticity and have not changed since 400 years ago and still sell their special goods.

The structure of the old market of Kayseri

This market is an example of an original and ancient architecture in Iran. The structure of Kayseri market consists of two high floors. The upper floor of this complex is dedicated to administrative, commercial, office, etc. The lower floor and ground floor of this complex consists of caves and timchehs that sell various items such as handicrafts. A beautiful twostory caravanserai has been built in the west of this market. In the east of this market, there is a mint, which today has become a trading house. Qaisarieh market has a historical gate and its entrance is decorated with this gate.
The head in Kayserieh is arched and beautiful paintings of Slimi are engraved on it. This headboard does not have the past painting and is a bit worn. Still, it's a lot of fun to watch. The entire market and its walls are decorated with beautiful carvings from the Safavid era. In the past, other small and large markets have branched out from the luxurious market of Kayseri, some of which are currently active.
On the roof of this market, there are beautiful domes that have their own beauty. The ends of these domes are equipped with skylights that provided light to the bazaar in the past. These skylights also act as an air conditioner. The area under the famous dome of this bazaar is also famous for the four sides of the bazaar. In the center and middle of this market, there is a large circular area, on top of which there is a beautiful dome with slimy moqrans. Parts of the Qaysariyeh bazaar have been built as analogs. This bazaar is similar to the Abbasid bazaar of Isfahan. This issue is also stated in the travelogues of foreign travelers.
