After recently being informed that Norfolk Southern will being phasing out their Triple Crown Road Railer trains in the near future, a Friday afternoon was set aside to chase the westbound NS 255 roadrailer on the NS SpringfieldHannibal District thru IL and into MO. Here, you'll see the train at three locations, with a BNSF "Warbonnet" (AKA a fakebonnet by some railfans) leading the way. The chase was relatively short but yielded some good results, and it is not often that power like this ends up on this train.
