The SVT40 is perhaps the second most well known semiautomatic rifle of the second world war. The history of the rifle is not well known outside of the USSR.
This video covers the Mosin Nagant, AVS36, SVT38 and SVT40, the history, production changes, ammunition pouches and a takedown of the rifle.
This video is aimed at both History enthusiasts and Reenactors.
