As part of my "Coincidental Conversations™" interview series, I sat down with Ted Neeley, who has played the role of Jesus in "Jesus Christ Superstar" since even before the 1973 movie of the same name, directed by Norman Jewison, came out. During the interview, which promotes the release of a new, extended version of Neeley's "SuperstarS Extended Version" documentary about the making of the movie, I learned many things. I also felt many things, most notably that I understood again why Jewison chose him.
