The news was reporting that an extreme artic winter was heading to parts of Scotland and that temperatures were due to drop to below freezing and possibly 18 degrees.

At the time we were parked up with friends along the west coast of Scotland, so we packed the van and headed to Aviemore and Glenmore Forest as its renowned for freezing temperatures and heavy snow!

We wasn't to be disappointed! Heavy snow arrived and we endured an extreme Scottish winter in the van with an overnight temperature low of 14 degrees.

Hey :) I’m Rob and my dog is called Archie (airedale terrier) and I've been living full time on the road since 2020.
