It was heartbreaking to see that the lower half of its body seemed paralyzed. It tried to climb the steps several times but failed each time. Finally, it seemed to give up hope, collapsing lifelessly on the roadside, silently waiting for death. I knew if no one helped this cat, its fate would be tragic.
