Visceral Games’ video game adaptation of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy Part 1: Dante’s Inferno has always been one of my guilty pleasure titles. The game was initially planned to be the first of 3 adaptations of the individual parts of the original poems, but it can be conjectured that it didn’t sell well enough to warrant the production of its sequels. Which is a shame.
Today I’m going to talk about why this certainly imperfect, sometimes quite pubescently crass take on the Inferno is actually totally worth playing and ... critically overanalysing. Follow me on my Journey Through Dante’s Inferno and the Nine Circles of the Infernal Underworld!

As stated in the video, here’s some helpful tips if you want to emulate Dante’s Inferno (PS3) in the RPSC3 Emulator on Windows 10 (Other operating systems that the emulator supports should also work, but I haven’t tested it):
