What are positive and negative space in an artwork? This project will utilize your knowledge of elements and techniques in art!
This video includes a step by step demonstration of the project that begins with a line drawing of a hand and plant, with obvious positive and negative space. It then develops into a project that creates a mixture.
There are two projects here. The first is a simpler one that requires paper, something to draw with and color. The second is a little more complex and will use paper, pencil, ruler and color.
Feel free to pause it to go at your own pace! As always, variations of the project are encouraged, especially in the patterns!
