This is our first time visiting Ozegahara. We choose the route Hatoyama Pass Yama no Hana Ushiku Ryugujo Miharashi. We make a reservation at Yashiro Hut and set off. However, as always, on the first day we are hit with heavy rain, showing off the true abilities of an rain man. Yashiro Hut is a retro inn with a gentle atmosphere. We take our time to rest and prepare for the next day. On the second day, we enjoy the clear skies of Ozegahara. A beginner's trip to Oze for someone over 60 years old.
