I have always been a collector and I have always enjoyed the intricacies of organizing and presenting my collections. Even as a kid, I took great care in keeping my Hotwheels cars, hockey cards and other toys perfectly organized. In adulthood, I obsessed over the display and organization of my extensive Oakley collection. This weekend, I spent a number of hours in the garage taking stock of what products I have. This video showcases each and every product that currently occupies space in my garage and grants viewers some access to my thought process regarding where it all goes.

My collection of products numbers in the hundreds and well over 60 brands are represented. After two days of intense though and consideration, some of my products are basementbound and some are destined for a new home where they can be genuinely enjoyed and appreciated. But let me be clear; being relegated to the basement or given away is by no means an indictment on the quality of these products. It is simply the net result of my bold organizational approach. Having too many products simply interferes with my workflow and overwhelms my limited space.

As much time, energy and patience as this project required, it was a cathartic exercise and I am now confident that my collection of detailing products is sufficiently streamlined and calibrated.
