Gravel driveway? Potholes? Low spots? Or do you enjoy watching tractor projects? Then this video is for you! In today's land management project episode I'll be taking out my 2023 KIOTI NS6010 compact tractor and my ABI Attachments TR3 tractor rake to repair some gravel driveway potholes and a long, low stretch of gravel that holds water after a rain and continues to sink in the tire tracks of the gravel driveway and pump the middle driveway crown at the same time. We have a very long gravel driveway on our Southern Illinois farm, and it needs regular maintenance to keep it in good condition, especially since we chose not to use breaker run (large stones) as a base layer in this driveway. Of course we had very specific reasons as to why we chose not to use a base layer of breaker run/large stone and to not use road fabric as well. We have a near mile long gravel driveway with hills, dips and curves in it on our Southern Illinois farm. And some spots are shaded much more than others, which also contributes to stretches of the gravel road to stay wet for longer after a rain. Today I am going to demonstrate how easy it is to repair potholes or low spots in a gravel driveway with the ABI attachments TR3 tractor rake. It literally took me about 15 minutes or so with my KIOTI NS6010. Heck, it may have taken more time to video tape this gravel driveway repair project than the actual gravel driveway repair itself! Oh and with the ABI attachment TR3 tractor rake you don't need to add any new gravel or stone to repair potholes or low spots!
