Weldon Spring, Missouri is a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri in St. Charles County. West of town is a radioactive waste site that has been cleaned up. Underneath the rock mound, or the manmade hill today is 1.5 Million cubic yards of Radioactive Waste. The EPA continues to monitor the groundwater today after years of uranium ore processing that occurred on the site in decades past.
