you know how a certain smell can transport you back in time? well, I spent a good chunk of my time as a kid in this particular summer house, which I hadn't been in since 2018 until this month. We got to rent it for four days, me and my family, and this is the footage from that time loaded with memories, emotions, quietude, and presence. I got to read, knit, go for nice walks, collect stones, listen to bird songs, stare into several bonfires, drink lots of tea, smell the aliveness of the forest, and delve into some childhood modes of existing, just looking around and not being in a distracted state of mind constantly. This took a little time to put together, like someone restoring a delicate garment at a museum, my work feeling precious and important to me.
