A snowy Severn Valley Railway Spring Steam Gala 2018 featuring Tornado and a King

An unbelievable transition in the weather took place at the Severn Valley Railway over the weekend. From videos I have watched the gala started on the Friday with sunny conditions throughout the day and on the Sunday ended, as you will see in this video, more like Siberia. The day started with a difficult journey to the Valley and the first train was nearly an hour late. Whilst we captured most of the visiting engines the one that got away due to the delays, was Bellerephon. This video features Nos. 1450 & 7714 from the home fleet and visiting engines Standard Tank No. 80072, 7F No. 53808, B12 No. 8572, GWR King No. 6023 King Edward II and A1 No. 60163 Tornado. The one benefit of the snowy conditions was the enhancement of the sound which with my two microphones made for a great soundtrack. So sit back, turn the sound up, listen to this steam fest and I hope you enjoy the video.
