It’s been a while since I worked on a musical piece!

I’ve always loved the “Count of Monte Cristo” Musical (thanks to Ink Potts’ MLP videos, LOL), so I decided to put my own twist on this song with my original characters.

This project is more like an alternate universe (AU), and I have to admit it was both surprisingly fun and challenging. Having three characters onscreen singing at different speeds was quite the task! Some lines in the song go by SO FAST, but I tried my best to make it engaging without being too jarring for the audience (ME).

At the beginning, some lines were originally sung by Villefort, but I switched it up to have Mondego sing instead. I thought it would be easier for viewers to follow two characters initially rather than three. Their voices sound quite similar to me though, so I hope the transition wasn’t too noticeable.

I know there are things I’d like to fix, but if I kept nitpicking, this project would never be finished.
