On the walk back from Granite Falls in Morton N.P, near Conjola Mtn in NSW, I passed a very strange waft of odour, something like amonia mixed with shit. As soon as i took a few more paces everything around me went completely quiet, and I mean everything. beforehand the bush had been alive with birds and insects and suddenly silence. I felt as if I was being watched and the hair on my neck and arms stood erect. I know enough to listen to my instincts and left the area smartly. If you turn up the volume you may hear a strange noise in the distance which i only heard properly after reviewing the video. I will have to suss this area out another time.
