『ハッピーアワー』や『ドライブ・マイ・カー』など長編を撮る傍ら、短編映画もつくり続け、2021年には3つの短編からなるオムニバス映画『偶然と想像』が『ベルリン国際映画祭』の銀熊賞を受賞した濱口竜介監督と、GINZAZAの企画者・キュレーターである空音央と増渕愛子の3人が、それぞれの視点で、第1回GINZAZAラインナップ10本の作品を本ずつ掘り下げていく。

A Special GINZAZA Conversation with Director Ryusuke Hamaguchi

While shooting masterful featurelength films such as Drive My Car (2021) and Happy Hour (2015), director Ryusuke Hamaguchi has also continued to direct short films. His Silver Bear Award winner at the 2021 Berlinale, Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy, is an omnibus film consisting of three shorts. For the inaugural edition of GINZAZA, coorganizers and cocurators Neo Sora and Aiko Masubuchi joins director Hamaguchi to talk about all 10 films in the lineup.
