The Object 248 in War Thunder is the top tier reward for Battle Pass Field Testing and it's an absolute BEAST!

Imagine an IS2 but with the reload of an IS1 and you get this monster! The 100mm cannon on the Object 248 is easily one of the best cannons in the game. It's so good in fact, it's still used all the way up to 7.7 BR!

The 100mm cannon has much the same penetration as the 122mm that's on the IS2. The good news is that it's much easier to aim due to a high velocity but the reload is THREE times less at only 9 seconds!

This means you'll be on par with reload times against tanks such as the Panther, Tiger and even the Tiger II!
