Thomas, devastated by the disappearance of his wife Anna, sets off for a remote provincial town where she was last seen before vanishing. The gloomy and isolated place immediately gives him an uneasy feeling— the locals are evasive and seem to be hiding something. Thomas begins his own investigation, but the deeper he digs, the more he realizes that the town follows its own eerie rules, which appear to be directly connected to Anna’s past.

Gradually, Thomas discovers that at the center of everything is a strange, old machine located in an abandoned workshop on the town’s outskirts. The machine has a mysterious mechanism and, according to rumors, can manipulate reality and memory. Thomas begins to suspect that the machine is somehow linked to the disappearance of his wife and other people who have vanished without a trace. The more he learns, the more doubts he has about his own memories.

Finally, Thomas uncovers the horrifying truth: Anna became a victim of the machine, which altered her existence, leaving Thomas on the brink of madness. He is faced with a choice—destroy the machine and attempt to bring his wife back, or risk his own life to understand the true nature of its power.
