Tono Dam, located in KassenaNankana District of Upper East Region, Northern Ghana is one of the largest agricultural dams in Western Africa,

The 2km long dam irrigates some 2,490 hectares of land. The Tono Dam in Navrongo was constructed in 1975 purposely for ir and opened in 1985 purposely for irrigation.

Currently, the Tono Dam Provides drinking water for the people in Navrongo and the surrounding towns.
