6. million cubic meters have accumulated in meters thick magma sill just by the Blue Lagoon that remains open. We are getting ready for a major event that includes the evacuation of Grindavík, the loss of importand Power station, and Iceland's tourist hot spot no1. This could of course still fade out, but it's more likely than ever that this will develop into a major disaster like in the Westman island in 1973.
