Pykestone Hill is one of the Manor Hills also known as the Tweedsmuir Hills a small group of smooth, rounded grassy summits south of Peebles in the Southern Uplands. This walk begins in the village of Drumelzier and follows Drumelzier Burn up a heathery ridge to reach the summit and trig point of Pykestone Hill. From here the route follows a circuit of other summits, each barely perceptible as a top Long Grain Knowe, Middle Hill, Taberon Law and Craig Head before heading down to the River Tweed and following this downstream back to Drumelzier.
