Insulin is a hormone released by the beta cells of the islets of Langerhans of the pancreas (yes, need the "full name"!). It is responsible for lowering our blood glucose level to see how it does this, please watch the previous video in the playlist on the regulation of blood glucose level. The release of insulin is regulated by negative feedback, and in this video we explore the mechanism in which beta cells of the islets of Langerhans of the pancreas regulate insulin secretion.
