Join me on an unforgettable solo journey from Aachen, Germany to Milan, Italy! This journey took me across three highspeed trains, including two ICE trains, covering a total of 11 hours of travel. Along the way, I marveled at the beautiful views of a Swiss lake and an Italian lake, making the journey truly picturesque. In the end, I was delighted to stumble upon a vibrant festival at the Milan station. Although my wife couldn’t join me this time, she will be back next month for more exciting travels. For this trip, I used one travel day from my Interrail pass.

Cost: I traveled with an Interrail pass. For the two ICE trains, there were no reservation fees, and you can sit wherever there’s space. For the third highspeed train from Brig to Milan, I paid €15 for the reservation.
