This song upto the first charanam is a poetic translation of the well known Appaiya Deekshitar's slokam "Lokan Aahooya Sarvaan" in Samskritum. Swarnavenkatesa Deekshitar has added two more charanams to give reasons for and the beneficial effects of having darsan of the "Aananda Natanam":of the Lord at Chidambaram.
