सोमवार को लोकसभा में राहुल गांधी ने इस योजना का जिक्र करते हुए सरकार पर हमला बोला। फिर उसके दो दिन बाद एक अग्निवीर के परिवार का वीडियो साझा करते हुए कहा कि सरकार शहीदों अग्निवीरों को मुआवजा नहीं देती। इस आरोप के बाद सेना ने भी अपना बयान जारी किया है और कहा है कि सभी शहीद अग्निवीरों को मुआवजा राशि दी जा रही है। रक्षा मंत्रालय ने भी सेना के पोस्ट को री पोस्ट करते हुए कहा है कि सेना अग्निवीरों के कल्याण के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। अब इस मामले में सियासत ने और जोर पकड़ लिया है।
