Aappilattoq is a settement in South Greenland and is located east of Nanortalik, around 50 km north of Cape Farewell

The name means "red", after the red mountain Marlulissat (Twins) rising above the settlement in the Greenlandic language.

Due to the size and location of the Marlulissat mountain, it has been difficult to capture it in the drone footages ⛰⛰

Like Tasiusaq settlement (shown in the previous video) Aappilattoq is surrounded by high mountains.

The settlement had 100 inhabitants in 2020, and the main occupations and sources of income are hunting and fishing
