Live playthrough of the “Planetary Duality” record front to back!

I filmed most of the shows that we played during the PD 10Year Anniversary Tour, and multi tracked a few of the shows that I could when the house board allowed. The audio I ended up using for the video was from the Albuquerque show, except for the first three minutes which was taken from the Toronto show (due to connection issues with the board and my computer).

The footage from the ABQ is the front angle cam where I’m wearing the Interloper shirt. Ironically enough the lighting and video quality I took that night ended up being some of the poorest of the tour… LOL. I tend to play a lot of fills and detail work differently every night, so whenever the video cuts to the ABQ shots, it’s most likely because the audio didn’t sync up with the other angles, and not because I thought that the grainy, poorly lit shot was the best choice for that section. Another reason I avoided using that angle was because I was sick the night of the ABQ show, and didn't go as hard on stage as I normally do. Funny enough, I think being sick and letting stage presence take a backseat yielded a tighter multi track session compared to the other shows.

Our FOH mix on this tour was handled by Sam Kirby, and the mix of the stems was done by Cody Stewart. Sam killed the mix every night of the tour, and Cody really brought the live stems to life. That snare is straight MONEY.
