Learning the twotimes table from 0 to 100 using an abacus for kids.
Toddlers and babies love watching the beads slide along the abacus in multiples of two. Young children can visualize the colorcoded beads, watch the written numbers increase, and hear the spoken value. Kids will learn place value in particular units, tens and hundreds. This is a decimal abacus specifically for younger children to learn the foundations of number and arithmetic.

I use this exact method to teach my son how to count and learn his timestables on an real abacus. He learned to count to 100 before the age of two, but more importantly he developed an understanding of place value. Using this method, kids will learn to visualize the value of numbers, rather than simply memorizing words as many toddlers do when they first learn to count.

As a Mathematics teacher of twenty years, and parent of two young boys, I can honestly say there is no better way to learn and understand simple multiples / timestables.
