The rescue part has no edits because I wanted to show the process of gaining Pierre's trust. A wrong or too fast of a movement could spook a dog, and then it's a nightmare. Patience is so critical in a rescue situation, and it worked out beautifully here.

Pierre is so lucky he allowed me to help him because the rat poison he ingested could have caused fatal damage! The leash definitely stressed him, but it was a small price to pay in exchange for all the happiness that is coming his way.
