This is a video demonstrating the possibilities of Ableton Live's Buffer Shuffler. It is a M4L effect that is available in the Max for Live Essentials pack. This effect is so much fun, I just throw in some sound and start messing about. It works really nice on drums but also on other instruments like the Airlite preset from Ableton's Wavetable synth. To me the 2.0 version is a bit convoluted, it makes me think too much and play less. So I usually use the original version.
