"You haven't uploaded a new video in over 9 months, haven't you, [ŚJ]?" Spongebob, probably.

Howdy there fellas. I think I owe y'all an explanation as to why it's been a loooong time since I last uploaded a video on this channel. Without getting into specific details, let's just say that things in my personal life were going on. From dealing with a breakup, to finishing my last year at community college, to preparing to transfer to finish my degree, a lot has happened since my last video that I haven't mentioned here.

I've been meaning to get several montages out. I've managed to gather enough clips to form a draft that's ready for editing, but most of the time, I was just too lazy or lacked the motivation to sit behind my Chromebook to really edit and finish them up. Alongside that, I'd often find myself doing other things in my spare time as all the stress and tough times didn't really leave me with the will or energy to edit.

So lemme apologize to everyone out there who's been waiting on my next upload. This Youtube thing is more of a hobby and fun activity I do, rather than being a full career, so I don't think I'm in need of uploading as much as fulltime Youtubers. However, I still owe it to my subscribers and fans to get content out to them within a timely manner instead of leaving y'all cold turkey.

This being said, I'm current on summer vacation, which means more free time without having to worry about school. I still have work, but I have plenty of time on my days off to do fun stuff, including this particular montage!

So back when NASB 2 came out, I was really eager to add another form of content onto my channel to help shake things up. I've been having some issues with characters in Smash to make montages of without resorting to sequels, so having a totally new game to use, I knew I wanted to make some montages featuring the characters from Nickelodeon's newest crossover, platform fighter.

Since Spongebob was my main in the first game, it made sense that he would be the first character to receive his montage. While the methods used to make this montage differed greatly from how I usually make my montages, having to record clips via the Switch's record feature and uploading them to Twitter before downloading them onto my device to prepare for editing, it was still fun to put together. Although the process was quite long and repetitive, which added to why this montage took a while to get done.

But after a long time and lots of selfmade delays, my latest montage and video is up and running for you all to enjoy! I certainly do hope you all enjoy, though I should mention that I most likely won't be making another NASB 2 montage for a while. Reason being that, for some reason, you can no longer record videos on NASB 2 for the Switch, despite being able to when the game first came out. I hope they add this feature back in due time, but I'm afraid without a capture card or the necessary tools to record gameplay directly from the console, this Spongebob montage will be the only NASB 2 montage on my channel.

Regardless, I hope it was worth the wait. Put a lot of time into making this to help it stand out amongst my other montages and I am quite satisfied with the end result.

All this being said, I do hope you look forward to new montages coming soon. Like I said before, I have a lot of montages that have been completed in draft form and only require me to edit before uploading them. I'll be getting those done from here to the end of the summer, at least until I start up college again. I'm quite looking forward to getting back to montage making for y'all. You could say, I'm ready! ^^
