abstract acrylic painting squeegee technique in black gold and blue-violet

lippekind - Inga Knaak

Abstract acrylic painting is very fascinating, especially the squeegee technique, which was popularised by the German painter Gerhard Richter. I use black acrylic paint for the background and apply gold metallic and a pearl colour to paint a special squeegee painting with my squeegee tool.

The video shows how I paint an abstract acrylic painting using acrylic paint and the Gerhard Richter squeegee technique. My canvas is 50 x 50 cm. Gerhard Richter is one of the greatest German artists for me. In contrast to his large paintings and large squeegee tools, my canvas and squeegee tools are smaller.

I bought all the materials myself, but I still label my video "advertising". I would also be delighted if you would "Like" my video or subscribe to my channel "Ingas Colour Art".
